Teen Chloe L. McCully Dies in One-Car Rollover Crash in Wilmington

A tragic car accident in Wilmington Township claimed the life of a 17-year-old girl and left her two passengers hospitalized with non-life-threatening injuries. The incident occurred on Saturday evening at Lorenzo Road and Cooper Road.
The driver, identified as Chloe L. McCully from Wilmington, was pronounced dead at the scene just before 9 p.m. by Will County Coroner Laurie Summers. According to Summers, McCully's vehicle was traveling westbound on Lorenzo when it left the roadway, rolled over and struck a fixed object.
Emergency services responded quickly to the site of the crash with both Wilmington and Coal City fire departments attending to those involved in the accident. Chicagoland Fireground social media site described it as a major vehicle accident with a pin-in and fatality.
The Will County Sheriff's Office is investigating this tragedy further while family members mourn their loss during this difficult time.
