Teenage Girl Killed in School Van Crash

One fatality, two critically injured adults, three juveniles with non-life-threatening injuries
A tragic accident in Dravosburg, Pennsylvania has claimed the life of a teenage girl and left five others injured. The crash involved a school van from Serra Catholic High School and a car, according to authorities.
The incident occurred on Wednesday morning when the school van was attempting to make a left turn and was struck by a northbound sedan. The collision resulted in devastating consequences for those involved.
Sadly, a 15-year-old girl was pronounced dead at the scene by the county medical examiner's office. Two men were rushed to nearby hospitals in critical condition, while three juveniles were also taken to a hospital with injuries that are not believed to be life-threatening.
The victims have been identified by the Catholic Dioceses of Pittsburgh as students from Serra Catholic High School and the drivers of both vehicles. The diocese stated that the three injured students are currently in stable condition.
In response to this heartbreaking event, Serra Catholic High School has canceled all classes and activities until Sunday. A prayer service will be held on Thursday evening for those affected, with counseling services being made available for all students.
"As we move forward as a school community, let us pray for the life that was lost and for her family, friends, and loved ones," said an official statement from Serra Catholic High School.
