Owen Fudge Dies in Single-Vehicle Accident in Clinton, Louisiana

Louisiana State Police Troop A is investigating a fatal accident that occurred in East Feliciana Parish on Tuesday night, June 6. The single-vehicle crash left a teenager dead. Owen Fudge, 16 years old and from Ethel, was identified as the victim of the accident.
The incident happened around 9:30 p.m. on LA 10 when Fudge was driving at high speed and failed to turn in a curve. He ran off the road and hit a tree, causing him to suffer fatal injuries despite being properly restrained at the time of the crash.
Authorities are still investigating why Fudge failed to turn in the curve but have confirmed that impairment is not suspected. However, they took routine toxicology samples for scientific analysis.
The investigation into this tragic event remains ongoing as Louisiana State Police Troop A continues its work to determine what led up to this deadly accident.
