North Pocono High School Graduate Kadan Rabender Killed in Lackawanna County Car Crash

A tragic car accident has left a community in Lackawanna County devastated. Kadan Rabender, a 17-year-old junior at North Pocono High School, was killed in the crash that occurred just before six on Sunday morning. The SUV he was traveling in went off the roadway and crashed down a steep embankment before bursting into flames. Rabender was thrown from the vehicle and died at the scene.
As recent graduates of North Pocono High School celebrate their accomplishments, they also grieve the loss of one of their own. Although Rabender was not part of this year's graduating class, many seniors knew him well and were shocked to hear about his passing.
Rabender's friends have started a makeshift memorial at the crash site as they mourn his loss.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation by Pennsylvania State Police who have not yet released any information regarding either driver or their condition following the incident.
