Teenager from Montgomery Dies in Coosa County Crash

A teenager from Montgomery lost his life in a single-vehicle crash that occurred earlier this week. The incident took place in Coosa County on Wednesday at around 11:27 am when William Romanowski was driving his Dodge Ram 1500 pickup truck. Unfortunately, he lost control of the vehicle and crashed into a tree, leaving him critically injured.
The accident happened one mile north of Equality on Alabama 259. Emergency services were immediately called to the scene and transported Romanowski to Russell Medical Center in Alexander City for treatment. However, despite their best efforts, he later succumbed to his injuries and passed away.
As of now, no further details have been released regarding the cause of the crash or any other factors that may have contributed to it. Troopers with the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency’s (ALEA) Highway Patrol Division are currently investigating the matter.
