Teenagers Injured in Crash in West Houston

Both teenagers expected to survive
Police are currently investigating a crash that occurred in west Houston near George Bush Park, to determine if slick roads and speed were contributing factors. The accident left two teenagers injured.
According to the Houston police, the incident took place on Tuesday around 7:30 p.m. when a Mustang collided with a truck on Westheimer Parkway. As a result of the collision, both vehicles veered off the road and ended up crashing into a nearby ditch.
Emergency services swiftly arrived at the scene and determined that two occupants of the Mustang, aged 16 and 17 years old respectively, required immediate medical attention. They were subsequently airlifted to hospital via Life Flight.
Fortunately, authorities have reported that both teenagers are expected to survive their injuries.
The investigation into this crash is still ongoing as law enforcement officials work diligently to gather all necessary evidence and information surrounding the circumstances leading up to this unfortunate incident.
