A three car collision has left three people critically injured and hospitalized, including an 8-year-old boy. The accident occurred on Friday afternoon at the 100 block of North Alvarado Street in the Westlake District.
According to police reports, there were a total of five patients involved in the incident. One patient left the scene while another declined LAFD transport. The remaining three individuals were taken to the hospital in critical condition.
As a result of this accident, traffic on the roadway has been halted by the Department of Transportation as investigations remain ongoing.
