One child in critical condition, two non-critical
On Saturday morning, a car accident occurred near Shelby Drive and Swinnea Road in Oakhaven, leaving three children injured. According to Memphis Police, the vehicle involved had been reported stolen.
At approximately 11:48 a.m., officers responded to the scene where they found three injured children. All of them were taken to LeBonheur Children’s Hospital for treatment. One child was listed as being in critical condition while the other two were non-critical.
The investigation revealed that the car involved had been reported stolen prior to the accident. The police have not released any further information regarding the incident at this time.
