Three Dead, Six Hospitalized in Crash in Southeast Columbus

Three dead, six hospitalized
Three people have tragically lost their lives and six others are currently hospitalized following a three-car crash in southeast Columbus. The incident occurred on the 3300 block of Refugee Road at around 8:05 p.m., according to the Columbus police.
Upon arriving at the scene, authorities confirmed that two individuals were pronounced dead immediately. It remains unclear whether the third victim was declared deceased at the scene or elsewhere. Dispatchers from the Columbus police revealed that at least two of those injured were transported to Nationwide Children's Hospital, but no information regarding their conditions has been released thus far. Details about where the remaining injured victims were taken and their current conditions remain unknown.
As investigators work diligently to determine what caused this devastating crash, a section of Refugee Road near Schwartz Road and Winchester Pike has been cordoned off by law enforcement officials.
At present, there is no additional information available regarding this tragic accident.
