Three Injured in Santa Rosa Classic-Car Cruise Accident

Three people suffered moderate injuries and were taken to a hospital.
On Saturday, three people were injured during a classic-car cruise event in Santa Rosa. The accident occurred at the intersection of Fifth Street and E Street around 5:50 p.m., according to the Santa Rosa Fire Department.
The incident took place during Peggy Sue's Cruise, which is part of Peggy Sue's All American Car Show. The show features pre-1976 American cars, hot rods, and custom cars. The organizers' website describes it as "a weekend full of music, entertainment, food & drink vendors."
Santa Rosa Fire responded to the scene with one engine, one battalion chief, three ambulances and one EMS AMR supervisor. They transported the three individuals who suffered moderate injuries to a nearby hospital for treatment.
The fire department shared details about the accident on social media saying "3 people were treated and transported with moderate injuries." They also posted an image showing emergency responders attending to those involved.
As of now there has been no further information released regarding what caused this accident or if any charges will be filed against anyone involved.
