On Saturday, in Clark County, Washington, a crash occurred resulting in injuries to three individuals, including a minor. The incident took place just after 9:20 p.m. on State Route 503 when Thomas P. Chirokov, aged 28, was driving southbound but crossed the barrier into the northbound lane. He collided head-on with another vehicle carrying four occupants.
The impact of this collision caused a subsequent rear-end crash involving another vehicle traveling in the northbound lane. As a result of the accident, Salvador V. Gutierrez (55 years old), Elizabeth Gutierrez (18 years old), and an unidentified minor were transported to a nearby hospital for medical treatment.
Following the incident, Chirokov was apprehended by authorities and charged with vehicular assault and eluding charges. Law enforcement suspects that alcohol played a role in causing this crash. Currently, an investigation is underway to gather more information about the circumstances surrounding this unfortunate event.
