Three People Killed in a Motorcycle and Pickup Truck Collision in Arenac County
On Sunday, June 18th, three people lost their lives following a crash in Arenac County. The accident occurred at around 4:45 p.m. on M-13 and Bordeau Road when a motorcycle collided with a Dodge Ram pickup truck that was making a left turn onto Bordeau from M-13.
According to the Arenac County Undersheriff Don McIntyre, the motorcyclist identified as Jacob Noah Southgate of Akron, was traveling northbound on M-13 while the male passenger Larry Foster of Standish was riding along with Dora Foster who was driving the pickup truck.
Unfortunately, both Southgate and Larry Foster were pronounced dead at the scene while Dora Foster later died at a hospital due to injuries sustained during the collision.
McIntyre stated that the motorcyclist’s speed was a factor in the crash. Further details about what led to this tragic incident are yet to be released by authorities.
