Three Killed, One Injured in Single-Vehicle Crash on Blackie Curren Road

Three killed, one injured
Three people have lost their lives and one person has been injured in a single-vehicle crash that occurred on Blackie Curren Road, western Jefferson County. The incident took place at around 10 p.m. on Saturday when the Sheriff's deputies were informed about the accident. Upon reaching the location, they discovered that a black Honda Civic had crashed into a ravine after losing control.
According to Lt. Joni Money, "Two females and a male - including the driver - were pronounced dead at the scene." All of them were adults; however, their identities are yet to be confirmed by authorities. Another male was also present in the car who sustained undisclosed injuries and was immediately taken to UAB Hospital for treatment.
The investigation into this tragic event is being conducted by Jefferson County Sheriff’s Traffic Accident Reconstruction Team to determine what caused this fatal accident.
