Three Sisters Gloria McCrimmon, Cheryl Medlin, and Viola Singletary Killed in Head-On Collision

Three sisters and the driver of the other car were killed. The passenger of the other car was airlifted to a Chapel Hill hospital.
A family in Southern Pines, North Carolina is grieving the loss of three sisters who died in a car crash on Wednesday morning. Gloria McCrimmon, 72, Cheryl Medlin, 63, and Viola Singletary, 74 were killed when their vehicle was hit head-on by another car on North Carolina Highway 690. The driver of the other car also died while the passenger was airlifted to a hospital.
Adreal Medlin, daughter of Cheryl Medlin said that her mother and two aunts were headed to Fayetteville at the time of the accident.
The cause of the accident is still under investigation but according to North Carolina State Troopers report; "the car that hit the Southern Pines sisters' vehicle was headed in opposite direction when it crossed over center line."
This tragic incident has left an entire community mourning for those lost too soon in such unfortunate circumstances.
