Three-Vehicle Crash in Portland Leaves Car Crashed on Top of Another

In a three-vehicle crash that occurred on Sunday morning, one person was extricated through the windshield of a car. The incident left one vehicle crashed on top of another, according to Portland Fire & Rescue.
The accident took place at the intersection of Northeast Lombard Street and Northeast Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard. Emergency crews were dispatched to the scene shortly before 9 a.m.
According to Portland Fire & Rescue (PF&R), the individual who was extricated through the windshield belonged to the car that ended up on top of another vehicle. Fortunately, neither this person nor another individual involved in the crash required an ambulance for medical transportation.
However, a third person involved in the collision sustained non life-threatening injuries and was taken to a nearby hospital by ambulance for further evaluation and treatment.
At present, it remains unclear what caused this three-vehicle crash. Authorities are conducting an investigation into determining its cause.
