Two Injured in Three-Vehicle Crash in Greenville

A three-vehicle crash on Friday afternoon caused traffic to slow down in Greenville, North Carolina as people were trying to get away for the long holiday weekend. The accident occurred around 3:00 p.m. on Greenville Boulevard near Landmark Drive.
According to the Greenville police, one SUV was coming out of a shopping center parking lot and making a left turn to head west on Greenville Boulevard when another SUV going east swerved to avoid it. The two vehicles grazed each other causing the second SUV to flip over onto its side after hitting a car heading in the opposite direction.
Officers reported that one person from both the second SUV and car involved were taken with minor injuries to ECU Health Medical Center. Police have charged the driver of the first SUV with unsafe movement.
The busy street has since reopened for all traffic following this incident.
