A tragic car accident on Monday afternoon in Houston, Texas has left a family mourning the loss of two loved ones.

According to Houston police, 35-year-old Britney Murphy was driving with her 60-year-old mother Sherie Smith as a passenger when their vehicle was hit by a pickup truck. The investigation is still ongoing with no charges or citations issued yet.

Murphy was known on TikTok as @ThatGirlBritneyJoy where she gained over 400k followers in just four months. Her sister described her as funny and relatable saying "I was so proud of her."
