According to troopers, the tow truck driver, identified as a 24-year-old man from Ohio, was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver of the tanker truck involved in the collision, a 65-year-old man from Winter Park, sustained only minor injuries.
At the time of the crash, the tow truck was transporting a 2018 Mercedes-Benz CLA-Class. Authorities are still investigating to determine what exactly caused this devastating incident.
