Tractor-Trailer Accident Blocks Entrance Ramp to US 23 in Prestonsburg

An entrance ramp to US 23 is currently blocked after a tractor-trailer accident occurred on Wednesday. The incident took place when the driver's load shifted while making a left turn from the overpass onto US 23 north.
According to Prestonsburg Police Chief, the tractor-trailer ended up on its side on the US 23 entrance ramp originating from Route 80. As a result, the ramp will remain closed for several hours until authorities clear the scene.
Fortunately, no injuries were reported in connection with this accident. However, motorists are advised to avoid this area and seek alternative routes if possible.
