A crash involving a tractor-trailer and a car caused significant damage to the guardrail on Interstate 495 in Chelmsford, Massachusetts on Thursday morning. The incident occurred around 4 a.m. near mile marker 85.2 on the northbound side of the highway.

According to Massachusetts State Police, no injuries or fuel spills were reported as a result of the accident. However, traffic was backed up for miles due to the wreckage.

All lanes were reopened at approximately 8 a.m., but residual delays are expected in the area.
