A tractor-trailer crash on I-89 near exit 12 and the Williston rest stop caused major delays for commuters throughout Friday. According to authorities, the driver swerved to avoid hitting a deer in the road and lost control of the vehicle.
Thankfully, no injuries were reported from the incident. However, crews worked throughout the day to remove the truck from its position on an embankment alongside the highway.
To complete this task safely, officials announced there would be rolling roadblocks put in place around 7 p.m. that evening.
