Two people injured, non-life-threatening injuries
On Monday, around 6:30 a.m., a tractor trailer crash occurred on the interstate near mile marker 174 Northbound in Newburgh, Maine. According to State Police, the tractor trailer veered off the road and collided with multiple trees in the median.
As a result of the accident, two individuals who were passengers in the tractor trailer sustained injuries. They were promptly transported to a nearby hospital for treatment. Fortunately, their injuries are reported as non-life-threatening.
In response to the incident, authorities closed down one lane of the interstate for several hours while they attended to the scene and conducted necessary investigations. The exact cause of this unfortunate crash has not been disclosed at this time.
