One Man in Critical Condition After Tractor-Trailer Crashes into Tree
A man is in critical condition after a tractor-trailer crashed into a tree near 69th Street in Kanawha City, according to reports from the Charleston Fire Department. The driver was traveling northbound on I-77 when the accident occurred early Saturday morning.
Crews spent three hours trying to extricate the man from his vehicle, and a doctor was brought to the scene to help guide those trying to get the man out of his vehicle.
It's not yet clear what caused the crash and State Police are expected to release additional information soon.
The victim has not been identified at this time and it's unclear if any other vehicles or individuals were involved in the incident.
