Tractor-trailer hits railroad bridge in Syracuse

A tractor-trailer collided with a railroad bridge that crosses Park Street in Syracuse on Friday afternoon. The accident was reported at 2:17 p.m., according to the Onondaga 911 Center.
As a result of the crash, Park Street was closed near the bridge and caused traffic backups in both directions for several hours. However, it has since reopened.
The truck was heading towards Liverpool when it hit the bridge. According to Syracuse police spokesperson Lt. Matthew Malinowski, "the driver of the tractor-trailer has been ticketed."
No injuries were reported as a result of this incident.
