Tractor Trailer Overturned on Rt. 20 in East Granby

Route 20 in East Granby, Connecticut was closed on Tuesday afternoon due to an overturned tractor trailer at the intersection of Route 20 and East Street. The accident occurred around midday, according to officials from the East Granby Volunteer Fire Department.
"Rt 20 is closed and there is no current estimate as to when it will reopen," said fire officials.
The cause of the accident remains unknown at this time. No injuries have been reported so far.
Drivers are advised to avoid the area until further notice. Local authorities are currently working on clearing up the scene and reopening Route 20 as soon as possible.
