Tractor-Trailer Rollover Crash on Interstate 291 in Windsor

The driver of the tractor-trailer received minor injuries.
State police are currently investigating a tractor-trailer rollover crash that occurred on Monday afternoon in Windsor, Connecticut. The accident took place on Interstate 291 Westbound at the Interstate 91 Southbound on-ramp around 2:30 p.m.
According to authorities, the tractor-trailer was transporting trash when it overturned, causing the debris to scatter across the highway. Additionally, a diesel spill resulted from the crash.
In response to the incident, law enforcement closed the on-ramp for several hours while they worked to clear away the wreckage and clean up the spilled fuel. Fortunately, only minor injuries were reported for the driver of the tractor-trailer.
As investigations continue into this accident, no further details have been released at this time.
