Tractor-trailer sideswipes pickup truck, causes rollover on Everett Turnpike

Several gallons of the vehicle's fluids were contained from damaged tanks and reservoirs to the sunken area of the median.
Multiple lanes were closed for nearly four hours on the Everett Turnpike in Nashua due to a crash that occurred on Monday morning. According to New Hampshire State Police, a man driving a tractor-trailer sideswiped a pickup truck, causing the tractor-trailer to rollover near the median around 9:40 a.m.
The accident was caused by the tractor-trailer driver's inability to respond to slowing traffic in a highway construction zone and his attempt at an unsafe lane change. The Nashua Fire Rescue team evaluated the tractor-trailer driver for injuries, but he refused transport to the hospital. Fortunately, no injuries were reported from the pickup truck involved in this incident.
Fire officials said they contained several gallons of fluids from damaged tanks and reservoirs of the vehicle into sunken areas of the median. The crash remains under investigation by authorities who are urging anyone with dash cam footage related to this incident is asked to contact state police.
