Two Injured in Laredo Traffic Accident

New details have emerged regarding the traffic accident that occurred this morning on I-35, resulting in a significant backup that stretched nearly a mile. According to the latest information from first responders, the incident involved two vehicles and caused minor injuries to two individuals who were taken to local hospitals. Thankfully, their injuries were reported to be minor in nature.
The impact of the crash caused one of the vehicles to come to rest near the ditch adjacent to the overpass. The precise cause of the accident, however, remains unknown at this time.
The incident happened before 9 a.m., leading to delays in northbound traffic along I-35. The congestion lasted for about an hour and a half as officers worked to clear the wreckage from the scene.
On Thursday morning, June 22nd, Laredo Police Department responded quickly after receiving reports of an accident northbound on I35 near exit 3 involving at least two vehicles which led one person being taken immediately to hospital with minor injuries. One vehicle was found landed near creek by overpass while another came into contact with it causing damage. Northbound traffic experienced delays as law enforcement personnel and first responders worked tirelessly to clear up debris for approximately an hour and a half while investigations continued. No word has been released yet regarding what may have led up or contributed towards this unfortunate event but we will keep you updated as more information becomes available.
