Multiple vehicle collision
A trailer disconnected from a pickup truck and collided with multiple vehicles on Interstate 77 in Chester, South Carolina, according to the South Carolina Highway Patrol. The incident took place on Saturday afternoon between Mt. Holly Road and Lancaster Highway.
After the trailer detached, the white pickup truck continued driving. The exact cause of the detachment is still under investigation.
