Massachusetts State Police reported major traffic delays on Interstate 93 south in Boston after a truck carrying glass window panels hit the side of a bridge in Dorchester on Tuesday morning. The incident occurred near the Columbia Road exit, causing significant congestion for commuters.
According to state police, troopers were present at the scene and confirmed that cleanup efforts were underway. In an update provided around 1:30 p.m., authorities stated that the spilled debris had been reloaded onto the tractor-trailer and secured properly. While the scene was cleared shortly thereafter, residual delays persisted.
