Four Injured, Including Two Children, in Truck and Buggy Collision in Darlington
On Sunday afternoon, a truck collided with a buggy on Main Street in Darlington resulting in injuries to four people. According to police reports, the accident occurred when the driver of a truck heading west on Ann Street failed to yield the right-of-way to a buggy going southbound on Main Street.
The impact caused the buggy carrying three children and two adults including a 41-year-old man and his wife to roll over. Emergency medical services arrived at around 2:15 p.m., treating two of the injured children at the scene while taking both adults who were driving the buggy to hospital for further treatment.
