Worker injured after truck crashes into building in Council Bluffs

Worker suffered non-life-threatening injuries and was taken to the hospital by private vehicle
A truck crashed into a building in Council Bluffs on Monday morning, injuring a 26-year-old man. The incident occurred at Camping World, located on South 21st Street near Interstate 29. According to the Council Bluffs police department, officers responded to a personal injury crash around 11:13 am after the vehicle drove into the building.
Investigators reported that a 2023 Ford F-150 Supercrew had driven up over the parking stall in front of Camping World and collided with the building. A worker who was sitting at a desk inside was struck and propelled forward by the impact.
The worker, identified as a 26-year-old from Omaha, suffered non-life-threatening injuries and was taken to hospital by private vehicle. Meanwhile, the driver of the vehicle remained unharmed.
Council Bluffs police confirmed that investigations are still ongoing regarding this accident. No further details have been released yet.
