Woman Injured After Truck Crashes into Building in Topeka

Woman taken to hospital with non-serious injuries
Part of Kansas Ave. in Topeka was blocked off on Monday night after a truck crashed into a building at 33rd and Kansas Ave. A woman was taken to the hospital following the accident but her injuries were not serious.
The incident occurred late on Monday evening and emergency services quickly arrived at the scene. The area surrounding the crash site was also closed off while crews checked for possible gas line issues.
It is unclear what caused the driver of the truck to lose control and collide with the building. However, local authorities are investigating further to determine if any charges will be filed against him/her.
