Officials Report Multiple Gravesites Damaged After Truck Crashes into Columbia Cemetery
A funeral service and cemetery in Columbia, South Carolina, reported that a driver crashed into the front section of Lincoln Cemetery on Farrow Road, knocking over 12 tombstones and several graves. Leevy's Funeral Home administration confirmed the incident.
The cause of the crash is still unknown. No injuries were reported in connection with this incident.
This is not an isolated case as similar incidents have occurred in other parts of the country where drivers lost control of their vehicles and crashed into cemeteries causing damage to gravesites.
