Truck Crashes into Home in Meridianville

Driver taken to Huntsville Hospital, condition unknown. No other injuries reported.
Alabama State Troopers are currently investigating a serious incident where a truck veered off the road and collided with a residential property. The accident occurred on Shangrila Way in Meridianville just before noon on Thursday.
According to authorities, it appears that the driver lost control of the vehicle while traveling along Steger Rd. As a result, the truck careened through two yards before crashing into a house. Thankfully, no injuries have been reported thus far, except for the driver who was promptly transported to Huntsville Hospital. At this time, their condition remains unknown.
First responders at the scene noted that significant damage was inflicted upon the home due to the impact of the crash. The Alabama Law Enforcement Agency (ALEA) has taken charge of investigating this incident further.
