A Starbucks barista was injured after a truck crashed into the coffee shop's building in north Harris County on Sunday evening. The incident occurred at the 20500 block of the North Freeway.

According to reports from the Harris County Precinct 4 Constable's Office, "the driver reportedly lost control and struck the building." Photos taken by Pct. 4 show that a gray Ford vehicle smashed through a glass window and stopped just short of the counter.

Medical personnel were immediately dispatched to treat the injured employee. However, it is unclear what extent their injuries are or if any customers were inside during the accident. There has been no information released regarding the condition of the driver involved in this crash.

Authorities have advised drivers to avoid this area as investigations are still ongoing.
