A truck fire on the northbound lanes of the Delaware Memorial Bridge has caused a traffic jam, blocking access into New Jersey from Delaware. The flames have been put out, but lanes remained closed.
The incident caused significant delays for commuters traveling between these two states. Fortunately, southbound lanes into Delaware are not affected by this incident.
Authorities have yet to release any information regarding what may have caused the fire or if anyone was injured in the incident. Motorists are advised to seek alternative routes until further notice.
