No injuries or fire reported, but caused a hazard and traffic jam
Officials reported a crash that caused an overturned vehicle to block traffic at the intersection of Hillsborough Street and Beryl Road near the Waffle House on Saturday morning. The incident occurred around 10:30 a.m. when "a truck ran a red light," according to officials.
The driver of an SUV crashed into the truck after it ran the red light, causing it to tip over. Fortunately, there were no injuries or fire, but the accident resulted in a hazard and traffic jam.
A large scene of first responders worked together to clear the area and assist those involved in the incident.
