Six people sent to the hospital
A collision between a truck and a house on Monday morning has resulted in six individuals being hospitalized. The incident occurred at approximately 7:15 a.m. on Highway 3, located east of Le Mars.
Le Mars Fire Rescue reported that one person inside the home was injured, while five occupants of the truck also sustained injuries ranging from minor to severe. To ensure prompt medical attention, four ambulances and one helicopter were dispatched to transport the injured parties to nearby hospitals.
The Iowa State Patrol has initiated an investigation into the crash; however, no details regarding the cause of the collision have been released thus far.
