Two-car accident in Makiki

No critical injuries were reported
According to the Honolulu Fire Department, a two-car accident occurred in Makiki on Sunday afternoon. The incident took place at the intersection of Piikoi Street and Hassinger Street. HFD received a call for a vehicle accident involving a roll over at 11:57 am and arrived at the scene by 12:03 pm.
Upon arrival, HFD found one vehicle resting on its hood with all occupants having exited upon their arrival. Police reported that one car side-swiped another car causing it to flip. One driver got out of their own accord while EMS transported the driver in the flipped car to a nearby hospital for observation.
EMS confirmed that both drivers are now in stable condition and no critical injuries were reported from this incident.
