Two-Car Collision on Highway 6 near Jamesport Injures Tristan C. Wald, Donna B. Graves, and June E. Williams

A two-car collision took place on August 15, 2023, at around 8:40 a.m. near the intersection of Route NN and Highway 6, just one mile west of Jamesport. The Missouri State Highway Patrol recently released a report detailing the incident.
According to the report, the accident involved a 2014 Toyota Prius driven by Tristan C. Wald, a 19-year-old resident of Smithville, Missouri, and a 2002 Saturn SL2 driven by Donna B. Graves, aged 70 from Gallatin. Both vehicles were traveling eastbound when the Saturn SL2 attempted to make an eastward turn but was rear-ended by the Toyota Prius.
Fortunately, both drivers were wearing their seat belts at the time of impact. Additionally, it was reported that both vehicles only sustained minor damage and were able to be driven away from the scene.
However, one occupant in the Saturn SL2 named June E. Williams suffered minor injuries as a result of this collision. She was promptly transported to Cameron Regional Medical Center for treatment via Daviess County Ambulance services.
