35-year-old man critically injured, 46-year-old man refused transport
According to Honolulu Emergency Medical Services, a 35-year-old man was critically injured in a two-car crash in the Wahiawa area. The incident occurred at approximately 6:45 a.m., prompting the response of Honolulu police, firefighters, and medics to the scene on Kaukonahua Road at Wilikina Drive.
Emergency Medical Services administered advanced life support to one patient who had sustained multiple injuries. However, a 46-year-old man involved in the crash refused transport for medical treatment.
The cause of the accident remains unclear as authorities continue their investigation. As a result, Kaukonahua Road is currently closed in both directions at Wilikina Drive.
