Children rushed to hospital but expected to survive

Two children in Lynn, Massachusetts, were struck by a speeding car on Monday morning, according to local police. The victims, a 10-year-old girl and a 7-year-old boy, were quickly transported to the hospital and are expected to survive their injuries.

The incident occurred at approximately 8:17 a.m. on Holyoke Street near Farrell Road. In addition to hitting the children, the car also collided with two parked vehicles before coming to a stop. Fortunately, the driver remained at the scene following the accident.

Authorities have cited the driver for both unsafe driving and speeding; however, they have not released any information regarding their identity at this time.
