Two Dead in Car Crash in Simpson County, Kentucky

Two fatalities, others transported to Skyline Medical Center
Kentucky State Police have confirmed that a tragic car crash in Simpson County resulted in the deaths of two individuals late Saturday night. The incident took place near the 6300 block of US-31W Bowling Green Road.
According to the investigation, an unidentified driver was traveling southbound on Bowling Green Road in a GMC pickup truck when it suddenly veered into the northbound lane. At that moment, a 17-year-old teenager driving a Mazda was heading north and collided with the truck.
Tragically, both drivers were pronounced dead at the scene. As if this wasn't devastating enough, the GMC pickup truck continued its course in the wrong lane and struck another vehicle traveling southbound. This third vehicle was driven by 25-year-old Miracle Grana, who had passenger Kathrine McCathron with her.
Emergency services swiftly responded to the scene of this horrific accident. Franklin Simpson County Ambulance Service, Franklin Simpson Fire and Rescue, Simpson County Sheriff’s Department, and Kentucky State Police all worked together to provide assistance.
Miracle Grana and Kathrine McCathron were transported to Skyline Medical Center in Nashville following their involvement in this tragic collision.
As investigations continue into what caused these fatal crashes, the community mourns the loss of two lives and hopes for a swift recovery for those injured.
