Two people have lost their lives in a car accident that occurred in Arapahoe County, Colorado. The incident took place when the driver of the vehicle was driving at an estimated speed of over 100 mph and crashed into a parking garage before bursting into flames.

The Arapahoe County Sheriff’s Office has launched an investigation into the matter and suspects that the driver may have been racing another car on E. Dry Creek Rd. Eyewitnesses claim to have seen two vehicles racing each other just before the crash happened.

Both occupants of the vehicle were male, but their identities are yet to be revealed by authorities. The driver died at the scene while his passenger passed away later at a hospital.

The deadly collision occurred on Sunday afternoon along Dry Creek Road between Yosemite Street and Alton Way in Centennial. Traffic investigators estimate that both cars involved in this tragic event were traveling eastbound on E. Dry Creek Rd when they collided with one another.
