Tragedy struck on September 10 when a four-car crash claimed the lives of two pedestrians near Easton on the westbound lanes of I-90. The incident occurred around milepost 70, approximately 13 miles west of Cle Elum.
According to the Washington State Patrol (WSP), the fatal collision was caused by two individuals illegally crossing the interstate. They were attempting to walk across the road when they were struck by four cars. Sadly, both pedestrians succumbed to their injuries at the scene.
Fortunately, none of the drivers or passengers in any of the involved vehicles sustained any injuries during this devastating accident.
