Vermont State Police Investigate Fatal Head-On Collision in Sheldon
Vermont state police are investigating a fatal head-on collision that occurred on Route 105 in Sheldon, leaving two people dead. The incident happened just after 9:00 p.m. on Wednesday near Lumbra Road.
According to the authorities, Nicholas Tanner of Highgate was driving westbound when he crossed the center line and collided with another car carrying Chad Miles, Alisha Miles, and their seven-year-old daughter Olivia. Sadly, both drivers died at the scene.
Olivia was transported to the hospital but later succumbed to her injuries. The cause of the accident is still under investigation by Vermont state police.
