Two Dead After High-Speed Crash on Chicago's South Side

Two fatalities
Chicago police reported that two people were found dead after a car crash on the city's South Side last Saturday night. A black sedan was possibly speeding eastward in the 400-block of West 87th Street at around 11:05 p.m. when it veered off course and hit a pole.
Upon arriving at the scene, authorities discovered an unidentified male and female inside the vehicle who had both passed away from their injuries. The male victim was identified as the driver of the car.
As of this writing, no further information has been released regarding what may have caused the accident or if any other vehicles were involved. Police are still investigating to determine what led up to this tragic incident.
The identities of those killed have not yet been revealed pending notification of their families.
