Two Killed in Burlington Car Chase: Trevell Moore and Gale Wright Jr.

Two fatalities

Ttwo individuals lost their lives in a car chase accident involving a stolen vehicle on Highway 75. The Coffey Co. Sheriff's Office received an emergency call around 11:40 am on Wednesday, June 14th regarding the multi-vehicle collision that took place at Highway 75 and 22nd Rd.

The Kansas Highway Patrol reported that law enforcement was pursuing a Ford F-150 truck which had been reported stolen from Texas. The driver of the F-150 attempted to pass a semi-truck using the shoulder lane but then re-entered the northbound lane where it collided with another vehicle - a Freightliner truck. After this initial impact, the F-150 continued into southbound lanes where it was hit by yet another vehicle -a Peterbilt truck.

Sadly, both occupants of the F-150 were killed in this tragic incident. They have been identified as Trevell Moore (24) and Gale Wright Jr.(20), both residents of Omaha, Nebraska.

Further details about this unfortunate event are still under investigation by authorities involved in order to determine what led up to this deadly crash on Highway 75.
