Two People Killed in Tragic Two-Vehicle Accident with Tractor Trailer

Police have confirmed that two people lost their lives following a fatal accident involving a Mustang and a tractor trailer in La Joya, Texas. The incident occurred at around 4:58 am when La Joya police received an emergency call about the crash at FM 2221 and 3 Mile Line.

According to reports, the Mustang was traveling northbound when it collided with the tractor trailer on its side. Sadly, both men inside the passenger car died as a result of the crash. Police later identified them as Tony Orlando Lopez from Weslaco (39) and Jose Antonio Carbajal of Sullivan City (25), who was driving at the time of the accident.

The case is still under investigation by local authorities with assistance from the Texas Department of Public Safety. Meanwhile, an indictment has been filed against another woman who admitted on camera that her husband is involved in drug dealing activities.
